A Short Walk on a Warm Windy Evening

I had planned to go for a run tonight, but the combination of a couple of chores that needed doing and being a bit beat from the past week made that a difficult proposition. So I settled for a short walk to the store and back, to pick up some supplies for the post-race feeds tomorrow and possibly Sunday.

It was definitely an atypical February evening - warm and windy, with a bright moon up in the sky. I've been enjoying snowshoeing and I'm looking forward to another month of that (at least, if the snow holds up) - but tonight I felt a definite stirring in my blood for trail runs on warm spring days and evenings. I'm really looking forward to the upcoming running season!
