When I left work the sunshine made it seem deceptively warmer, but I ended up wishing I'd brought a warmer jacket as I walked around the pond. Some open water, some light ice... no surprise, given the cold of the past couple of days. A quartet of geese and a pair of ducks were hanging out in one patch of open water, and a few people were walking dogs, but overall it was pretty quiet.

Bring on the warmer weather!
