I thought about riding the stretch from Rotterdam Junction to Amsterdam (as well as the bike path to the Junction) but decided my legs weren't up for the hills. Turned out to be a good decision since there was an atypical east-to-west wind, which made riding west fun but heading back was work. So instead I stopped at the end of the bike path on the west side of the Junction.

Lots of wood ducks in the old canal and a fair number of turtles as well. Not as many people on the path, possibly because it was cool and windy. Overall a ride which felt better than I expected it to, given the tired state of my legs.
