As much as I would enjoy running the Belleville Pond 10k Saturday morning... now that Sunday's snowshoe races are definitely happening, I don't think a trip to RI makes sense. It's one thing to do the 6+ hour round trip for a race and then visits to a bunch of the parks and wildlife refuges down that way... it's quite another to do it for a race that will take me approximately 1/4 of that time to finish. I'll be much better off having a more relaxed Friday evening and Saturday.

Sigh. Sometimes it sucks to be sensible.
