Spent the morning and afternoon getting ready to go to Rochester and then driving there... a sad use of a gorgeous day. So after we'd had a little dinner Ann and I took the bikes up to Henpeck Park on the Erie Canal in Greece and headed west along the canal path for a little ways.
The path wasn't particularly busy, except right near Greece and Spencerport. Along the way we saw lots of birds, including several orioles, a kingfisher, and a green heron. We also spotted two great blue herons on the far side of the canal, and two sets of mallards with ducklings. A good way to wrap up the day!
