I'm certainly not going to complain about having an unexpected day off... but I do wish it had been for snow rather than the sleet and freezing rain we got from about lunchtime on. I would have much preferred to get out and either ski or snowshoe this afternoon. Instead, I couldn't even safely get out to run, since everything was covered by a half inch of ice.
Hopefully we will get some more snow to top off the frozen mess we have right now, or this weekend's snowshoe races will be more than a bit challenging.
