So I finish my run and get back to the car, just as the folks in the van next door open their doors and two dogs dash out, circle the car to check me out, and then continue running around. They call the dogs and manage to nab one, get it to sit, and snap on a leash (umm... shouldn't that have been on before they opened the car doors? Why are so many dog owners absolute morons when it comes to keeping their dogs safe?) The other continues to range further and further away as they call, whistle, etc. before finally coming back close enough that they could nab and leash it.

Funny thing was, they had a sign on the side of the van for dog obedience training.
