Apparently nature has an annoying sense of humor, because we welcomed the "official" start of autumn with high humidity and temperatures approaching 90. I really wanted to go for a run after school but I just couldn't drag myself out under those conditions.

Then a couple of storms blew through bringing a cold front with them... the rain had mostly died down by the time I got out for a walk, but the 20+ degree drop in temperature was an incredibly welcome change.

Unfortunately the current forecast calls for more hot weather this weekend, which does not fill me with confidence as I consider the Pfalz Point 10 miler on Sunday...
