Still no telling how my knee will behave after I smashed it into the ground yesterday morning, and now the weather forecast is cold and raining for tomorrow's Busa Bushwhack. I had originally thought I might drop down to the short course, but now I'm thinking I'll bail altogether and head back to Albany after this afternoon's Wicked 5k in Kennebunk.

The real disappointment, of course, is this means I won't have the opportunity to say hi to Rich Busa, who I believe turns 90 (!) in a few days. Rich has always been an inspiration in many different ways and no longer makes it out to many of the races where he used to be a regular, so chances to see him and chat for a bit are extra special. Hopefully next year...
