A hazy, humid summer evening ride... actually, after the rain we had earlier I wasn't sure I'd be riding at all, but it worked out in the end.
Lots o' bunnies along the path... big bunnies, bitty bunnies, and everything in between. Some are clearly used to people and stayed put to munch their evening meals even after I stopped the shoot pictures... others dashed off into the bushes before I even got near them. What can I say... I like bunnies...
As I pulled into the parking lot a mockingbird zipped away into the trees. Late in the ride I startled a heron and he squawked at me as he flew off. It was getting fairly dark as I finished riding, so I stood on the side deck of the old train station and watched the bats flit around catching bugs.
