More Egrets!

I already had some evidence of this but as I drove past one of the pools at Montezuma today I was pleasantly surprised to see dozens of white egrets there. Sadly, there's no safe (or legal!) way to stop alongside the Thruway to take a picture.

Given their absence for much of the summer I can only conclude that they're seasonal visitors... and in a couple of months they'll be gone again until next August.
