2 Mile Walk at Buckingham Pond

Nice to see the pond ice-free again. Lots of ducks and three groups of geese... one pair seemed pretty comfortable around people so I'm guessing it's one of the pairs that has nested here in the past.

ABOUT THE PHOTO: A very cold January day on the trails at Ontario County Park in western NY, site of the inaugural Mrs. McCormick's Ice House Tonic trail race. A snowstorm the night before the race made for very challenging running conditions...
