1.5 Mile Walk Around the Pine Hills Neighborhood

I had hoped to do a bit more today (in particular, I wanted to get out on my bike) but between grading exams and being beat up from yesterday's half marathon - a walk was all that happened, where I spotted the first fireflies that I've seen this season.
I have mixed feelings about that, honestly... on the one hand, I enjoy seeing them, especially in Albany where any "nature" is a good thing in my book... but I'm also very much aware at how short their adult lives are, and that makes me feel like summer is already racing by, even though it's barely arrived (school isn't even over yet, and the solstice isn't for a little over 2 weeks...)
