At last, some fresh snow! Not a lot around here - maybe 6" - but combined with what was already on the trails up at Thacher yesterday, I'm finally foreseeing some decent snowshoeing tomorrow night after work... and some good race conditions this weekend!

ABOUT THE PHOTO: A very cold January day on the trails at Ontario County Park in western NY, site of the inaugural Mrs. McCormick's Ice House Tonic trail race. A snowstorm the night before the race made for very challenging running conditions...
Trail running, distance running, hiking, road and mountain biking, paddling, snowshoeing, XC skiing, martial arts... and anything else I feel like writing about!
