21.5 Mile Ride Along the Erie Canalway Trail

I wanted to ride somewhere different so after walking the trails at the Christman Sanctuary I headed for Fort Hunter and the Schoharie Crossing State Historic Site to ride on the Erie Canalway Trail.

ABOUT THE PHOTO: A very cold January day on the trails at Ontario County Park in western NY, site of the inaugural Mrs. McCormick's Ice House Tonic trail race. A snowstorm the night before the race made for very challenging running conditions...
