ABOUT THE PHOTO: SNOW! What a pleasure it was to see almost a foot of snow on the ground at Constitution Hill, a Berkshire Natural Resources Council property in Lanesboro, MA. It made for tough going during the annual snowshoe race (it's tough to train for snowshoe running without snow!) but I can think of few better ways to spend a gorgeous sunny January day than stumbling and staggering around in fresh powder. At least it wasn't two feet deep like last year!
