Actually, it wasn't nearly as bad as the news agencies made it sound, or maybe that was just because I bundled up to the nth degree. There was a bit of a breeze, which is always problematic - it sneaks in around all the gear keeping me warm and toasty. But I wasn't out long enough for it to be a problem. Hopefully it will be less breezy tomorrow when I finally get out for a run...

Streets were very quiet, partially because the college kids are still mostly away (hurray!) and probably in part due to the cold. But I like it that way... wish it could be this quiet all the time.
