I wonder how many people driving the NYS Thruway noticed the huge rainbow across the Mohawk River from Fort Plain this afternoon? Yet another occasion where I found myself wishing it was legal and safe (especially safe!) to stop and take some photos on the highway.

ABOUT THE PHOTO: A very cold January day on the trails at Ontario County Park in western NY, site of the inaugural Mrs. McCormick's Ice House Tonic trail race. A snowstorm the night before the race made for very challenging running conditions...
Trail running, distance running, hiking, road and mountain biking, paddling, snowshoeing, XC skiing, martial arts... and anything else I feel like writing about!
